Hi!  Henley here...

How are you?

I'm doin' just grrrrreat!

I've made so many friends over the last few years with my book that it brings happiness to me every day!

I've also learned many things over my lifetime -
I'm almost 12 years old now. (That's about 84 in people years) and some of the things I've learned I'd like to share with you.

Keep these in mind every day:

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure
joy.

Take naps.

Stretch before rising.

Run, romp, and play daily.

Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

Be loyal.

Never pretend to be something you're not.

If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them
 gently.

And always... ENJOY EVERY MOMENT OF EVERY DAY!

Pretty good advice, I think.
NOW... here's some different kind of news!

My friend, Mookie has also decided to become an author. (Apparently no dog is EVER to "out do" a cat!)
So, a new series of books is on its way shortly - 15 to be exact!

The first one will be called "Everybody Loves Mookie"  ...and they do ya' know!

Well, that’s about it for me for now. So… please check the home page now and then for places that I will be appearing!  I’d be really happy to see you!

Love,

Henley

P.S.

I was so happy to visit so many thousands of school children this year! It was AWESOME!
I was even so honored to become the Official School Mascot at Good Intent School in Deptford, New Jersey!

Please have a look-see!

WHAT a wonderful school!

P.P.S. Thank you for honoring me and believing in my Paws for the Cause!  :)
To be nominated for The Great Friend to Kids Award" at the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia was truly touching to me (and my family - 2-legged and 4-legged)
What a thrill to be nominated!

P.P.P.S. BestFriends.org have chosen my book to be used by their humane education program teachers. How cool is that!? Soon "Mookie and the Rescued Cat" wil be right up there with me.

XOXOXOX,

Hen.

Please read "Bandit Big Black Dog who Stole My Heart" by Carol Bradshaw
You will fall in love with this story.

Here's a book my Mom found out about and she loves it!
It's called:
"The Right Way the First Time: Teaching Your Dog Kindly and Humanely"
It's recommended by Mom and everyone who reads it... other authors, (like me and Mom) dog trainers, veterinary behaviorists, and by the Association of Pet Dog Trainers!!!

Check out my books!
