Hello everyone!

Wow! I've got my own page on Mom's website. This is pretty cool.
When Henley wrote his story, "My name is Henley: my life and times as a
rescued dog" I thought it was SUPER!

Then I thought to myself... if Henley can write a book, I certainly could!

And so I did!

Mom did a lot of the typing, Sue Daly did the illustrations, but I did all of the work. It's not easy being “The Adventure Cat” ... but it sure is a lot of fun!

My first book is called "Everybody Loves Mookie" and the others are: "Mookie and The Rescued Cat" ... "Mookie Goes Down the Shore" ... "Mookie and The Christmas Tree" and "Mookie and The Candy Store."

I hope you get to read them. I think they're cute -- even if I did write them myself!

Have fun! Be safe! and remember...EVERY week is Be Kind to Animals Week!

XOXO,

Mookie

P.S.

Since our dear boy, Henley lives at The Rainbow Bridge now... he passed his "rescue mission" torch over to me so I can visit schools, adoption centers, libraries, etc, ... like he did.

As he once said to me, "Mook, this is a very important job! You must teach the children well. They must learn and understand about animal rescue, adoption, and being kind to all creatures great and small. Learning to value life at an early age is one of the most important things we can teach these children."

As a rescued, adopted, "runt" of a litter myself, I know in my heart just how meaningful this message is.

I promise to do right by all the children and to make my dear friend, Henley, very proud of me.

As Mom said, "Mookie... you've got some BIG paws to fill... but even with those little feet... I know you'll find a way to do it!"

And I promise you... I will!

Love to everyone,

Mookie
